We were delighted to welcome Members to the Garden Room for a one-off dining experience with another of the country’s most accomplished female Chefs; Elizabeth Haigh. Known for her bold and exciting dishes, which fuse her Singaporean-British heritage and passion for wood-fire cooking, Elizabeth delighted Members with an outstanding Menu with delectable dishes such as Tomatoes served with Steamed Silken Tofu, Tomato Dashi and Crispy Seaweed to start, a mouth-watering Barbecue Sirloin, Roasted Aubergine with Miso & Garlic served with Black Sesame Bernaise and Sweetcorn to follow and Strawberries served with Pandan Mousse, Black Meringe and Toasted Rice Ice-cream to finish.

New Zealand chef, caterer, and cookery writer, Margot Henderson, who runs the caterers Arnold & Henderson, and is the co-patron and Chef of the Rochelle Canteen in Shoreditch, joined us on International Women's Day in March for an evening of rustic charm in the Garden Room. Members enjoyed culinary delights such as Duck Rillettes, Pickled Cucumber on Toast with Radishes & Smoked Cod’s Roe to start, Turbot, Monk’s Beard & Winter Tomato to follow and Chocolate, Salted Caramel Tart served with Rhubarb and Crème Fraîche to finish.
